Europe
Following the success of our European themed event at the politcal party Spring Conferences, the CSPP launched its European programme in June 2008 at the Tun, Edinburgh. Utilising our strong links with MPs, MSPs and MEPs and with Scotland's major institutions in the EU policy process, this programme will provide a forum for engagement with key politicians, policy advisers and influencers. The Centre has established a steering group to progress this policy area, details of which can be found below.

Jim Wallace, was formerly Deputy First Minister and maintains a keen interest in European Affairs.

Events
The European programme officially launched on 9th June 2008. Entitled 'European Reform: Scotland's Role & Opportunities', this event was dynamic, well attended and question driven and witnessed the creation of a coherent, cross-party narrative on European affairs.
