The business case for shared services in Clyde Valley

Two years since the publication of the the Arbuthnott Review, a business case has been presented for the adoption of shared services in the Clyde Valley area.

The councils involved are North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow, Inverclyde and West and East Dunbartonshire after South Lanarkshire recently pulled out of the process.

It could see many councils sharing support services of finance, payroll, revenues and benefits, HR and IT. The plan can be read here
