CSPP (14/08/15) – The deadline closes today for the public to submit written evidence on the general principles of the Land Reform (Scotland) Bill to the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee.
The Bill was introduced by the Scottish Government to Parliament on 22 June. As part of the CSPP’s interest in the importance of ‘people and place’ in Scotland, we have facilitated debate on the issue of land reform in the run up to the Bill’s introduction.
For more, you can read about our “In Conversation” event with author and campaigner Andy Wightman in February 2015, and see a blog post by consultant and academic Dr. Calum MacLeod summarising the Bill and evaluating the importance of its introduction.
If you wish to submit your views on the Bill before the end of today, the details can be found on the Scottish Parliament’s website here.
