Breakfast meeting with the first minister Nicola Sturgeon as she opened the 2017 Gathering conference. Other speakers include David Duke, founder of Street Soccer Scotland, Colin Macfarlane, director of Stonewall Scotland and Amy Dalrymple, head of policy at Alzheimer Scotland and Vice-Chair, CSPP.
Lucy McTernan, deputy chief executive of the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations, joined Professor Richard Kerley, chair of the Centre for Scottish Public Policy; Lorraine Gillies, senior manager at Audit Scotland and Jane Salmonson, chief executive at Network Of International Development Organisations In Scotland in discussing what Open Government, an international platform for domestic reformers committed to making their governments more open, accountable, and responsive to citizens, would look like in practice in Scotland.
