We ask AAI intern, Marianne Gallagher, about her experiences working for Highlands based PR firm Muckle Media.

Intern Blog - Emma Gilliland at Timespan
My name is Emma and I am the Curatorial Intern at Timespan. I studied history at university and want to work in the heritage sector. I have previously had work experience at Culzean Castle, Dumfries House, Ayrshire Archives, Robert Burns Birthplace Museum and Rozelle House Galleries, but my internship at Timespan is the first graduate level job I have had. I am helping to put together a new exhibition on the Kildonan Clearances and I am responsible for the reinterpretation of the museum information panels.

An evening 'joining the dots' - AAI Highland Intern Andrew Adam reports on a recent networking event in Inverness
On a fairly brisk evening a week before Christmas, half a dozen interns based in or around Inverness met up in the Velocity Cafe in the centre of the city for a networking event. This consisted of the six of us, along with Polly Chapman from Adopt an Intern and Brian Weaver from HISEZ, sitting around a table getting to know each other (and putting the world to rights).
